All Sales Are Final

At Chapter Bound, we specialize in offering pre-loved, used books at affordable prices.

Because of the unique and secondhand nature of our products, all sales are final.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take great care when packing your orders. However, if you receive:

  • A book that was damaged during shipping, or
  • An incorrect item (wrong title, wrong edition),

You must contact us at info@chapterbound.com within 7 days of delivery. 

Please include:

  • Your order number,
  • A description of the issue, and
  • Clear photos of the item and packaging.

Resolution Options

If we determine that the error or damage was on our end or during shipping, you may be eligible for: 

  • A replacement (if available), or
  • A refund back to your original payment method.

Note:

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after approval.
  • We do not cover shipping costs for returns unless otherwise stated.

Conditions for Refund or Replacement

To qualify for a refund or replacement:

  • The item must be in the same condition you received it (excluding shipping damage).
  • The claim must be made within the 7-day window.
  • Proof of damage or error must be provided.

No Refunds for

  • Change of mind.
  • Minor cosmetic issues typical of used books (e.g., slight wear, small creases).
  • Incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.
  • Delays caused by the shipping carrier (we wish we controlled the mail, but alas).
